I am trying to use Chuck to create music from images. I have a processing sketch which is generating the signals, sent as a freq/gain pair using OSC.

I would like to collect each 'string' of these numbers (they are not all the same length) and create audio with them.

I have currently been sending them directly to a SinOsc but the sound I am getting is inconsistent and, um... yucky.

I understand that a typical microphone input is done using ~adc, and that one can do some pretty fantastic things with the sound buffer. This is similar to how I wanted to do this signification, but the information is from what Processing generates, not a microphone.

I cannot find any information on how to fill a sound buffer with my own information. COuld someone please direct me to how this might be done. I suspect my google-fu is not up to par for setting this up with my limited knowledge of ChucK.

OK, this is probably far too late to be of help, Very Happy but it sounds like you be after LiSa - which is a live sampling uGen built into ChucK. You can then transfer from LiSa to SndBuf.
