Hi folks,

My name is Andy and I live in South-West Scotland. I've been soldering electronic circuits together since the late 70's. Started with amplifiers, radios, fuzz boxes and then got into electronic music in the early 80's, inspired greatly by the UK magazine 'Electronics & Music Maker' which contained lots of great projects.
Built my first synthesiser in 1982 from a kit from Maplin (E&MM 'Spectrum') - I've still got it but it needs fixing...
Got side-tracked for a number of years with other things (work etc..) but I've recently got interested again in the music aspect of electronics.
I'm currently reading through posts on this forum and around the 'net to get ideas for my next big constructional project which will be an analog monophonic synth - however, my efforts usually take years to get completed Wink
( plus, I need to get my Theremin finished first ! )
I wouldn't call myself a 'musician' but I do dabble with keyboards and did try recording some tunes around ten years ago on the computer but ran out of ideas/inspiration.
I've got lots of experience making circuits, PCB's, fault-finding etc. and hope I can help others if possible and share anything interesting I come up with.

Cheers,
Andy
