Look at this

I like that page, but I found myself much intruiged by this toy speciffically.
Clearly you could use it as a inspirational tool, but it goes deeper. If I see the pictures correctly you could link measures by switching around parts of the rails and better yet; you can reverse the "Lok" which would also invcert the scale (because left becomes right to the "Lok". In a way this is a sequencer and a very interesting and unique one too. Here moving measures is easier the copying them and switching places is as easy as only moving. Also; i don´t think "silence" is a option at all.

I am getting inspirered just thinking about it and thought you might too.

That´s what I thought!

I think the whole thing is quite clever too, the way you could swap bits of rails without touching the notes on them...

Yes, that is very cool. It does seem too complicated for three year olds, but I'm sure a few of them loved this - I would.

Wow, that is an awesome toy! Very Happy

It solves at a stroke the problem of the lack of visual experience in live electronic performance. 5 years down the line, I can see a hitherto unimagined synthesis of model railways and earbleed gabba.
