Hey there!

Just finished building the Klee, great machine!

I made a mistake when i first powered it up, I had U6 (TL072) backwards... Not the smartest thing to do. I replaced it with a new one, everything seems to be working fine except Variable Range.

The LED turns on when I switch the range with to internal, but I get an interval of about a semitone, regardless of the Variable Range pot setting. R33 is 1k.

Also, when I connect an LFO to the range input and switch the range switch to external, the LED blinks at the rate of the LFO, but I can't hear it change the range.

Which other parts could I have damaged and should I replace to get it working? Help is appreciated!

Thanks!

I'd suspect U7 as well - its max input current is 10mA, and with U6 reversed, you might have exceeded that.

It would be very helpful to use a link to the schematics used in the equipment you have built, because now if somebody is willing to help he or she has to google what it's all about.

Thanks for your replies guys!

@prgdeltablues:

I replaced U7, but nothing changed unfortunately.

@Grumble:

Here's a link to the schematic. Page 6 is all about the max voltage scaler. I tried to read it myself but I'm still a noob at this. Could I have blown D30/BAT85?

thanks again for helping me out

Did you install a jumper over W2*? If so, remove this jumper.
