Hi all
Just wondered if anyone could help
My Sixtrak had been sitting around for years, so I thought I'd fire it up
Turned it on, and it counted thru the oscillators, 1 to 6, then showed 00 in the display, and just made farting noises!
Oh dear, time for a new battery and re- load the is over midi.
Did this, and it fired up fine with all its memory locations full
But all it would do is still only make farting noises
Played around with the parameters of all the mem locations, but it only work with noise sounds, which were perfect, and the filter and vCard settings were a bit flakey
Is it possible all the 3394 voice chips now didn't work...wasn't sure about that
Scoured the manual, to no avail
Is there setting I've missed, iris there a control circuit that's duff that only effects the Oscar, via filter

I'm confused

Reloaded the os same again!

I'm lost

Doubtful that all 6 curtis chips failed, I'd start with a recapping then troubleshoot.

Thanks for that-probaly a good idea
Someone on another forum suggested doing a DAC reset...which is possible with one of the
service hidden functions?
