I'm connecting up my stuff via an old MidiExpress XT, and learning a lot of weird things (Besides output 6 being broken that is).

For example, a TR-909 will echo START and STOP commands from the input to the outputs! This will in ye olde typical setup cause a feedback loop of start commands. Smile That was fun.

I'll have to see if I can get the software for that old MidiExpress XT (with a parallell port) from 2004 working on Windows 10. Wink

I couldn't. Smile

Edit: Yes I could, but no, the MIDI Express XT (at least this old version) will send MIDI clock on all outputs or no outputs, and that's it.
