That's an awesome crazy machine you've built stolenfat. Very Happy
I wouldn't mind seeing a thread for it as you have some interesting things in it.
The explanation in the video was clear though so I think I understand how it works.

Thanks phobos. A post in your moonbase thread inspired the numeral led thing. Always find your posts informative and inspirational

I guess I could start a thread if you think the community would enjoy/learn from it.

BTW, Seriously the sound shaping of the fuzz circuit really is what makes this guy so fun. The eq, boost, and cmos whackiness you get from the 4069 is the bee's knees.

Thanks, I almost mentioned I did something similar with a LED display Laughing

I finished something too (doesn't happen so much these days Rolling Eyes )
it's a lunetta module with a shiftregister and some XOR gates.

Been a while since I did any straight up DIY builds.

I built Alan's Dunno a couple weeks ago, only thing not working is the integrator and I haven't dived into troubleshooting it very far. Very nicely done. No photos cos it's not "done" though. Very Happy

I'm selling off some of my 5U to raise funds (long story....), and in the mean time I'm trying to replace what I've sold with Euro equivalents. I was lucky enough to score one of these, which as I understand it is not very common any longer....

Nice VCO Elmegil!

I also built one of Alan's boards:

Traded a long time ago, had these kicking in the PCB bin so I figured I'd stuff it. Really simple build as to be expected.
Also, Barton quad vca mixer:

Finished a time ago really, just needed some knobs.

Besides my prototyping for SERGE (Random*Source) I started to built myself a black 4U module with some functionality I miss in our current product line. So after my ADC controlled CV Sequencer I recently built this logic module in 4U (sporting the classic CMOS based Serge Quantizer, a sequential switch, two flip-flop, two gate2trigger, and two Serge comparators:

hey,

Dual AD/ASR Envelope, AD and ASR and inversion simultaniously present,
LFO Funktion, Rectangle OUT

if i will be ever back in a civilised part of the world i will see how and if i will do the frontdesign

it is not the "classic" modul thing, the idea is to staple the things on top of each other

schematic will appear here in the near future: http://www.electro-music.com/forum/topic-69412.html

cu,
gabbagabi

My Jasper Wasp (see https://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/topic-157937.html for details) finally done!

The case is made of cheap wood that I stained black and then protected using 3 layers of Tru Oil for a vintage look. Wood screws are brass to keep with the black/yellow wasp look.

As usual, it was the final touches that stalled me (I added a MIDI connector and interface to play the synth using an external keyboard; see https://youtu.be/28f_aSbw5Ls for details).

In any case, it's done now.

this Looks really nice. thumright

Can you guide me to some Information or a thread About the EOR gate mod and the hold-function mod?

Planning to build my last 2 VCS within next time (10 should be enough then) and think this would be a great add on.

Thanks!

I used the mods that Navs posted on his site here:
http://navsmodularlab.blogspot.com/2015/10/doeper-serge-vcs-expander-schematic.html

They work great! I will probably build a couple of VCS at some point, just to have the independent cv inputs for rise and fall. These mods will be a part of any variation of the DUSG/VCS that I build in the future for sure though.

My first Euro module, the Electro-Music Karplus Strong module I got from Alan last Christmas. It took some time to show it, because I first had to build an Euro Rack Case.

Here a short demo: https://youtu.be/yDnUpzS-ltY
