Hi,

Im building the 555 VCO with the foniks PCB and I haven´t found the 3500ppm 2k PTC

I have 2 1k 3000ppm PTC. Could I use it as a replacement?. Should I change some other resistor value to fit the different ppm?

I don´t really know get the mathematics involved. It´s ok if its only tracks 3 or 4 octaves instead of 5 or 6

Not really no. It would function, but your temperature coefficient would be off.

EDIT: Fonik says it would be OK, so never mind me Smile
