4069 Overdrive
In a local musician facebook group, someone was asking about a good option for a stereo overdrive effect to use with his keyboards and synths. He wanted stereo specifically for a piano patch that he says doesn't sound as good in mono. A lot of people chimed in saying that they would like a good stereo overdrive too, and had just been using dual guitar pedals.
So I built this one and post it for sale in the group. If it sells, then I might do a few more. I built it into a metal watch box. I have three more of the boxes.
It is just a CMOS 4069 wired up like an opamp with variable gain. I also added a 6dB low pass filter for tone control. There is also a volume pot to keep things under control when driving it hard. I also added a bypass switch.

Nice work on the case ! Everything fits well. Nice mix of modules in there as well. Went over to your blog and took a listen to your music. The piece called setting 2, is this from the modular your showing off today? Like the sounds !
Thank you ,yes it's from this synth ,i already got made another case ,panels and distro boards so ,hopefully the whole thing will sound more colorful in future _________________ http://synthacks.blogspot.com/ шематикс

my second "eurorack" module, renes´s noise source,
not a deadbug, not pad'n'island, its "dead gabba's long island strip style"
ive made the open collector from the transistor available as an input, dunno if it makes sense, time will tell
values adapted to what i had laying around on the workbench from desoldered try'n'fails, only "new" part is a BC637 as noise transistor, which is an original Siemens with ink print, accidently found in the holy Segor-Shop in Berlin back in the days

Cool pcb and cables. Does it run on 220 Volts? _________________ Make modular synthesizers great again!

yeah,
you know in the eastern (dark) part of germany, copper was very short of supply, aluminium was often used instead, so "they" decided to produce chips that run directly off 220V to save the copper for the transformer, they where called TL082SED220 from ROBOTRON.
I received some of them as participant of the "7. electronic youth gathering Teddy Thälmann"
i dont know if the fun-factor-while-building stays as high as it is with simple circuits if you start to build something rather complex like the klee, but never-say-no - and since my own circuits tending to be dumbassly simple, i could get away with this style and maybe i even get better over the time, so its not to hard to look at it anymore
