Good luck on the gig! I wish I could make it out to see you guys play - but I am stuck doing a Cinco de Mayo gig for WZZO (cover stuff - not electronic). The place that you are playing at - does it have electronic music performers often? |

It went well, I think.
I invite Howard and Bill to comment as well.
There wasn't much of a "crowd" but there were a few people who came out to see us (thanks!) and a stream of casual coffee-house goers.
One of the women who works there said she thought the music was "strange."
Someone else said we reminded him of Radiohead.
We made a recording, if it comes out ok, you'll be able to get a CD. |

For this gig, I used a Nord Modular and a DX200, also my portable noise machine:

Howard used a Nord Modular. Bill also used a Nord Modular, plus a guitar and a lap guitar through a Boss processor (forgot the model number).
If you check the news on the electro-music front page, there's a photo of the 3 of us playing. The gear is not very clear though.
I guess you could say we're all big Nord Modular fans!
I love the flexibility of that box.
When the G2 comes out, maybe we'll do a gig where each of us plays only that. |

I thought the gig went pretty well, for a first time out. It was good to break the ice. I, for one, got a lot of ideas about our group and the music. I'm looking forward to getting together in the studio again and redefining ourselves.
The venue isn't really ideal for electronic music, or any music. There are a lot of harsh ambient sounds: coffee grinders, blenders, espresso machines etc. Maybe the music we played was too loud and complex for this sort of venue.
Here are some photos that Juli took of the equipment:
