Analog comupting is realy cool. You can borrow a lot from their concept to use in patches but I also love dealing with the physical machines. There is something to having your logic right in front of you in a tangible form.

yeah, that would be very cool to have the hardware. there was a very nice piece on eBay a little while ago, i remember... basically a modular computer with patch points and all.

I don't own one myself but I did jam with one of those learning pannels and a Serge; those connect well as soon as you sort out a common ground. It's amazing what you can do with just a couple of logic gates added to your analogue sequencer...

I was once lucky enough to get a small tour of some real old big analogue computers from a strange old man that was in charge of maintaining and archiving them. For a long time analogue computers were still used in niche place because they have some obscure advantages. For example in manually and optimising complex functions you can work with them quite intuitively. There even used to be hybrid models with digital inputs for values yet analogue computation cerquitry.
