Hi,

I am wondering whether there is a digital recorder in existence which will go between my hi-fi and computer. I run my computer into a hi-fi, and i wish to record what comes from my speakers, rather than exporting/converting what comes from my programs. However, I also want to access/analyze/grab information from within the recorder, using my computer.

The process is simple enough, using a mini-disc recorder for example, but i am wondering if there's a digital recorder (similar to a sampler crossed with a hard drive), which would save recording and re-recording.
