Windows app closely mimics Apple's Exposé
A Windows software maker has released a utility called WinExposé, which brings features similar to those offered by Apple's Exposé to the Microsoft operating system. "A keyboard shortcut or moving the mouse to a screen hot-spot shows all windows, whether open or minimised, in a tiled display of scaled images." WinExposé closely mimics the animations used in Exposé. It costs $10, and is available for Windows ME through XP.

Yeah... welll this is the way it always is. Perhaps Apple has a patent and will sue the company?
Exposé is just a smart GUI feature. Stuff like this, if it is not patented will be copied instantly by other vendors. _________________ A Charity Pantomime in aid of Paranoid Schizophrenics descended into chaos yesterday when someone shouted, "He's behind you!"

Expose' is way cool
I had to move the function keys to activate it because the default ones were interfering with my assignement for Emagic Logic, but other than that is terrific. I wish I could assign its functions to keys F13,F14,F15 but someone explained to me that those 3 keys do not exist on laptop computers. damn it _________________ homepage - blog - forum - youtube

I agree. Exposé is an excellent idea. I use it all the time. _________________ A Charity Pantomime in aid of Paranoid Schizophrenics descended into chaos yesterday when someone shouted, "He's behind you!"

Hmmm. Looks good to me. This should be part of the OS's window manager, but for $10, I'm gonna get it.
Thanks for the post... |

Hang on... what you should do is to visit versiontracker.com and check the rating and the comments this new app gets from users before you install it. Give the vendor a week or two at least. WINTEL is not OS X. Something which supplies the Apple Exposé features can mess up Windows seriously.
( Sorry this one is too late , my mac at home fell offline and I thought I had posted this one.. I just found the posting page with an offline message.. sorry ) _________________ A Charity Pantomime in aid of Paranoid Schizophrenics descended into chaos yesterday when someone shouted, "He's behind you!"
