well, unless i totally screwed something up it seems that tax time will be a good time. i'm looking to just about 'finalize' my setup for the next couple years(?) while i have the chance. here's what i've got at the moment:

- Nord G2
- E-mu e4X
- Roland TR-505 (going to sell)
- Akai s612 (going to sell)
- TC m300 reverb/multi-fx (going to sell)
- Boss ROD-10 od/dist/fuzz
- Behringer BCR-2000
- Akai DPS-12i HD recorder
- Mackie 1402vlz Pro mixer (going to sell)

computers:
- IBM laptop (366mhz/128mb/pII)
- Compaq PC (333mhz/256mb/Celeron)
- Atari Falcon030 w/ Cubase (going to sell)

as you can see, i'm not really looking into newer software options. here's what's on the top of the list to get:

- Soundcraft m8, m12, e8, or e12 mixer
- Akai MPC-1000
- a better reverb/fx unit
- possibly an older PC version of Cubase and Wavelab or something along those lines - i figure these things are essential

other than that i can't think of too much else i might need. any suggestions are welcome, especially outboard processors like compressors, etc that i might not be thinking of. thanks in advance...

(and no - as much as i've lusted after one, a MachineDrum is not the answer. yet. Very Happy)
