Subject description: Modular pains

Just got my shiny Modular. Though I am having a huge bother with it.

Every time I switch off the Modular, whatever patches I had loaded in Slots a - B disappear. e.g I load the Rhodes patch onto Slot A. Turn the synth off and then on again, and Slot A is empty.

Perhaps i'm just being a bit of blueberry pie but something seems up.

Any help would be lovely, and feel free to throw things at me if this is normal.

Cheers,
Carl

welcome Carl

The patch you are working on is in temporary memory, you'll have to store it somewhere in a patch bank to keep it over a power cycle. This can be done both from the editor and from the synth, but have a look at the synth settings - saving might be disabled there if I remember correctly.

edit : I might be talking nonsens here ... it's too long ago I used the Classic I'm affraid ...

There was also a shift store operation on the synth itself, that might just do what you want ...

But it would be best to read the manual Smile
