Finally got my PPG Wave 2.v from Sam Ash music. She is wonderful! Such character,a digital hardness coupled with an analog warmth.Having a great time programming patches. There are lots of fantastic banks out there,it's going to be hard to come up with anything new and original. But I'm giving it my best shot.I'll upload the results here when finished if anyone is interested. Very Happy

Congratulations, Teksonik. Of course we are interested! I can't wait to hear it. I'm not familliar with this synth, but Elektro80 is a big devotee of these.

I am using the PPG all the time. It is a great instrument. The original had analog filters, something which really made it stand out back then.
Apart from the missing Waveterm, the PPG 2.v VSTi pretty much can do whatever the old one could.. and then some. patching is done using basically the "old" interface.. so all PPG Wave users will be able to use the VSTi just like the real thing.
My "Blinded By Memory" which should be in the XMAS special in Online Music is using a lot of PPGs.. both real and virtual.

Hi Teksonic

If you like wavetablesynths ,then you should try a program that i wrote for ATARI computers.
it creates waveforms beyond the standard waveforms like saw and square.
all you need is an ATARI and a sampler.

you can find it at : http://nutron.gmxhome.de

if you don´t have an ATARI you can you use Steem ,it is an ATARI emulator which runs on PC.

I had the PPG 2v for some time. It was packed in the Waldorf Edition. Sounded very good in my ears.

I think the Waldorf PPG was updated to an OSX VSTi. This means it can probably run fine using Plogue Bidule as a host. Bidule even comes as an universal binary.
