Okay, I'm a paint by numbers newbie with my SLMS about 75% finished and I'm think about how I'm going to trigger it once I'm done as I don't have any other analog synths. Do digital synths generate a voltage fron the 1/4" audio out? The reason I think this is possible is because the first night I recieved my oscilloscope I hooked it to the audio out of my digital and ooohed and aahhhed at all the pretty waveforms,which as I understand it is showing me a volt/time graph(the voltage coming out of the cable). If I am wrong is there any way to simply generate a cv signal in order to test my creation short of the guitar/drum trigger mods? Thank you.
