OK fellow members, looks like the Klee board sets are selling in the EM store and now the parts kit Pre-Ordering can begin as well. Thanks all for responding to my POLL.
Remember, each kit sold here will provide a $10.00 donation to the Electro Music headquarters for help offset the time and cost involved in keeping the community going.
The electronic part kit Pre-Orders will be taken for 6 weeks and will end on November 15, 2008. After that, I will acquire the parts from my distributors which will be another two weeks. I will then begin kitting the parts and shipping. This method has worked well for the last two runs with no single person unhappy. It is a long process but please be patient, you will not be disappointed.
EDIT: Clarified the ordering to 6 weeks ending on 11-15-2008
How Much:
$118.00 each kit plus shipping .......... USPS/CAN $4.80 ... all else: $10.00
There is lots of stuff in these kits ..... which include all the connector hardware !!!
The kit includes all headers, housings, crimp terminals, IC's, sockets, resistors, capacitors, diodes, hard to find 0.1% precision 100K resistors, NPN/PNP Si. transistors, trimmers. Everything you need to build up two complete boards for the Klee.
Each part type is bagged and tagged so you will never have just a big kludge of parts thrown in a bag. This makes the build process go smooth. ESD measures are always observed and all ESD parts are bagged in the appropriate wrapper.

Well guys, it's looking like it will be good enough to do a parts run once again. A sweet number would be like 30 kits or more 
The sale, if it starts will be on a pre-order basis as I did all the other times. After the 4 week preorder period ends, I order all the parts, receive them, kit them, then ship. This process usually takes about 6 to 8 weeks.
I pre-order because it's a BIG sum of money to lay out on the basis of interest so this method guarantees everyone is happy.
Look for the preorder announcement soon at the top of this page. When the sale starts, the poll will end as there will be no need for it.

That is correct. There are those that usually ask after the 4 week time period, that's why I may go to 6 weeks but don't want folks to wait much longer than that

i will take one kit as well, can definately pay within 4 weeks
thanks for doing this, i'm not the most experienced builder (just a few small CGS projects under the belt) and this will really help with the somewhat intimidating Klee project

Bill -- The end date for the Pre-Orders sounds a little vague. A specific date for end of Pre-Orders might make it easier for people to make sure they've got their money in to you on time, and it would make it easier for you to tell people "sorry, the Pre-Orders are closed for this run" if they come a week late to the party. |

 Money sent! Thanks for doing this at such a reasonable cost! I'm new to this hobby but the Klee looks like a blast. Take your time, I would hate for anyone to miss out on this.

Yes, I agree with that I changed it to 6 weeks with an end date of November 15. That will leave no doubt sir. Thanks for that clarification
