Is it possible to work with the desktop evolver editor and a midi keyboard at same time? If it is how i connect the midi cables? Rolling Eyes

I think you'll need to merge the data, either in your computer (using Maple, or MIDIYoke, or something similar on a PC), or by using a MIDI Merger, and connecting one MIDI fromyour keyboard and one from your computer to the merger, with the output of that going to the Evolver.

You work with the soundtower editor?

If yes, you're able to define two seperate midi ins in the midi settings.

Midi in 1 = evolver
midi out 1 = evolver
Midi 2 in = controller keyboard

If you are working with a DAW you need a midiinterface which is able to share the midichannel (Edirol, E-MU, MotU.

That's it.

Hi! And thanks a lot for your help.

So you mean that i can work with the editor and cubase? I still dont understand cause the machine just have 1 phisical midi in and 1 midi out, ok i select diferent midi ports for evolver and the midi keyboard, but the machine doesnt have 2 diferent!

I hope you understand
