I haven´t claimed that Waldorf is less dysfunctional than the average synth manufacturing company out there.. say Clavia?
I haven´t checked Thomann yet. I reckon they have should have this one up already? _________________ A Charity Pantomime in aid of Paranoid Schizophrenics descended into chaos yesterday when someone shouted, "He's behind you!"

Anyways, I´m pretty sure Stefan or some of the other Waldorf dudes would have said so on one of the lists already of this really is a fake. _________________ A Charity Pantomime in aid of Paranoid Schizophrenics descended into chaos yesterday when someone shouted, "He's behind you!"

Well, the thing which is annoying me the most is its color. The 'original' Blofeld is almost snow white where this one is dull grey, while the back ground is as white as can be. No itself respecting company would publish such a photograph, specially when white is easy to obtain using a photo edit program... Even the white keys are grey!

I think it's a rendered image, not a photograph. Still, it could be enhanced, I agree. _________________ Spinning at ~0.0000115740740741 Hz |

I think it looks pretty cool, would be nice if it had user samples, but I don't think we'll be that lucky somehow _________________ Dark Ambient/ Electronic Space Music |

I reckon they will soon post a user manual for this one in their file archive. BTW, the german made user manuals are better these days. The first manual I got for my Waveterm read like a bit of H.P Lovecraft and Monty Python. BTW, might be I´m into more agreeable drugs these days. Hard to say really... _________________ A Charity Pantomime in aid of Paranoid Schizophrenics descended into chaos yesterday when someone shouted, "He's behind you!"

According to the Keyboard Magazine Blurb, it will be User sample
http://www.keyboardmag.com/article/waldorf-blofeld-keyboard/sep-08/87075
60MB user sample RAM (load your own waves!)
and it appears that the Blofeld Desktop also has 64M of RAM... so the
60M of Sampling (4M is currently being used by the Wavetables)
should also make it onto that...
Cheers,
Dave |

That is nice news about the desktop. Sample memory along with saving multis would make my day. |
