We'll start off with my first release under the name Doors In The Laybrinth. Free download, share and enjoy!
https://doorsinthelabyrinth.bandcamp.com/

The album was assembled from live and studio recordings from a show in 2009, editing down a 3 hour live set into more "songlike" pieces, with some additional overdubs this year. Originally it was much more droney and ambient, but still followed the same narrative structure. I'm working on some abstract videos for this, and intend to try and promote it a bit (so any tips on that would be greatly appreciated!)

Okay, so that "formerly" tag isn't strictly necessary, but since retiring the name it seems like more people remembered me than when I was actually playing. But from 1999 to 2011 I performed under the name Pancreatic Aardvarks, doing stuff ranging from noise and ambient to dreampop/post-rock. Largely abstract, always narrative, the closest claim to fame I had was a track on a tribute to the band Current 93. If anyone is interested, I do have most of my old releases for free download at https://pancreaticaardvarks.bandcamp.com/ If you hear anything there, grab SleepCycle (another 3 hour live performance, and I think my finest work under that name).

I also am half of Celtic Fusion duo Ghost Estate https://soundcloud.com/ghost-estate We do traditional and original folk with a twist; I do electronics, guitars and dulcimer, while the vocalist/violinist is a classically trained opera singer. We're on a bit of a hiatus right now, but I'm looking forward to playing shows again.

Most of my time these days has been spent working on a film music career. I tend to post recent work as well as my demo reels up at https://soundcloud.com/joshloughrey as well as some other odds and ends from my past.

Enough babble for now. I plan to use the Doors In The Labyrinth name to release and play live whatever random music I feel like (working on some electro-industrial/orchestral/spoken word things at the moment) Thanks for listening!
