LM324 vs TL074?

Finally finished my stash of 100 of so TL074s pulled from an old mixer.

but still have a big tube of LM324, can I use these on the analogue board in place of the TL074s?

Or is the jfet difference relevant?

It will probably work - I've never tried it is all. I had a stash of TL074s when I was working on the Klee, so the part pretty much chose itself.

Give it a whirl - I'd be interested to know if it works or not.

Tube of 25 quantity TL074CN DIP, $5.95. .238 each. And you'll find many other neat things to get to the minimum order, such as bunches of mylar caps:

LM324 works just fine
and I have two Klees
