Can anyone tell me of a supplier of strip board (otherwise known as veroboard and matrix board) here in the US. I used to get it from Maplin before I immigrated here. I cant seem to find a supplier in the US.

Cheers

Bill

Hi Bill,

I normally get mine from the infamous Futurlec:

http://www.futurlec.com/ProtoBoards.shtml

Definitely the most affordable. I've heard people complain about SNAFU's from Futurlec, but I've ordered plenty of times and always gotten exactly what I've ordered.

I've also gotten it from RP Electronics, up Canada way:

(Do a search on Vero). They're more expensive.

It seems that Marlin Jones may also have it, but check the patterns first:

My money's on Futurlec (they have some *great* non-stripboard protoboard, BTW - I like the '777' board and the 'Prototyping Large' board. Especially the 'Prototyping Large' board. It's laid out like a large breadboard and makes transfer from the breadboard a schnap!

For pics of it in action, check here:

Cheers,
Scott

I just got a rather large order of IC'c from futurlec. I haven't had a problem yet either. You can't beat 50 cents for pots and their value packs are nice if you wanna get a little surplus going.
