Hello,

I made a sample from the WSG with my V-synth XT
Then I used it as a patch for the melody of a song.
It's in dutch

These are not purely made with SL sounds, but MFOS modules were used. (well the thunder is controlled by the SN-Voice).

However, the dripping sound in the thunderstorm is from the soundlab Cool

thanks Very Happy I was really satified with the thunder patch Cool
I used this one as a template and experimented a little:
http://www.modular-planet.de/nature/thunder/thunder.html
but with MFOS modules instead of döpfer

Time for some music from The Mighty Mirlitzer.

While I have been considering posting an original piece (and will do so soon), I thought that this unoriginal piece might interest one or two members.

In 1978, technical author M K Berry published a little book called "Electronic Music and Creative Tape Recording", notable both for its bright yellow cover and its original cover price of £1.25. I'm sure it sold many copies in the UK; for example, Mirlitron Two has one.

In addition to electronic construction projects and tape recording / studio tips, it also includes a short section on composition, which includes a graphical score of a one-minute unnamed piece. For thirty years I've been musing at the blobs and squiggles, trying unsuccessfully to imagine what it sounds like. It would have been a reasonably demanding piece to record to mag tape, but a hard disk recorder makes the process a little easier.

Anyhoo, here is my interpretation of the piece, which I have named "After Berry (1978)", performed entirely on my Sound Lab named "The Mighty Mirlitzer". Classic composition? You decide!

Okay, here is the first original Mirlitrons composition using The Mighty Mirlitzer Sound Lab as sole source of sounds (plus a little reverb and chorus from our beloved Zoom 1608 HD recorder).

We hope it finds favour...

welcome *super*robot*

The mp3 sounds a bit odd here ... periods of silence and bits of music ... the fragments sound nice tho ... congrats on making it work!
