Hi guys

it would be a pleasure for me if you'll listen to my music.
I've ever interested in algorithmical improvisation, real time composition and application of cellular automata to music so that's the way i'm trying to walk on.

http://franz.impattosonoro.it is my little tiny site wich i link some of my oldest works, all realized with my MaxMSP patches since 2004 until oct 2005, so really old stuff Smile

I'm also thinkin about to put some MaxMSP abstraction on my site.

here www.myspace.com/franzwork i've uploaded some of my new stuff. Fu Hsi, the title comes from first of China's mythical emperors, is an improvisation with my granular synthesis patch developed in MaxMSP.
I've tried to do a polychromatic, synchronus-asynchronus crossing, experiment. The parameters are generated in a simple algorithmical way, using the Litter Pack from Peter Castine, using some Bernoulli, 1/f, gaussian distribution.

I'm sorry for the streaming...

I'm listening right now to your tracks at myspace.

It is a pretty abstract listen, which seems to reflect the process you use to make this music ... well ... what I made from your descriptions you scattered around today Smile

I find it interesting, I'll certainly explore your other site once I listened through the myspace pieces.

thank you very much for comments guys! I'm really glad you like my music and find it an interesting thing!

that's the screenshot of the patch with i've composed Fu Hsi, basically is a granular composer for real time applications, with the possibilities to switch from n timbres and n windowing-waveform, play glissons and grainlets etc...

I love the way you handle max/msp, are you willing to share some of your work? There's a max/msp section in this forum!

The PDF looks interesting, but I'd like to see an unlocked screenshot! Wink

You really have a great sound too, your tracks on myspace are amazing!!

I'll surely share some of my abstractions for data an signal processing on my web site, but not the Patch in the PDF ;P

anyway i've attached an unlock screenshot of the patch, but it's composed by a lot of abstractions, so it is difficult to show all on my 12" screen Very Happy
