Hi Jan,

It will be very cool to meet you!

Rob will pick me up in Amsterdam, so thank you for your offer. Btw, I'll be in the Netherlands/Belgium from July 28 until Aug 8th.

I'll be wiring my 400 Euro's soon.

Hey Dave! I'm totally stoked!

This time we'll have G2's around to play with while we discuss ideas and problems and solutions.

The last time, Winter NAMM 2007,in Anaheim when we met, there were 2 g2's, a G2 keyboard and a g2x on the stage (not stage keyboard, where clavia was demoing v1.4). I only got a few minutes of patching in, sadly.

http://electro-music.com/forum/topic-9691-0.html&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=

which brings up an interesting point. some time ago, I wished I had 3 g2's. now if I did not go to namm 2006, nor to europe in 2007. this money could have brought in quite a few (or quite expensive) musical toys. but the best toy is your brain and what it can come up with, or learn from others.

An ad Clavia and MasterCard should run.

a wide screen, laptop computer - $599,99
a nord modular g2 keyboard - $1,749.97
a brain. priceless.

the g2 comes close to priceless.

The Nord be with you.

I was beginning to think you guys were being extremely cool and nonchalant about the event. Or else the whole thing was just an elaborate hoax. I mean, if they can fake a moon landing.. Smile

Holy Clavia, Wout, quick, put me on that list please!
I planned to come over for some days, but was amazed too about
the relative radio-silence!

Looking forward to see you all. Btw, how many people will be there??

To be subscribed to the mailing list you have to contact Blue Hell or Rob Hordijk. There will be about 40 people staying the whole week.

Contact Rob too about the visit.

Bummed- let me tell you about bummed.
I was in Amsterdam & The Hague 2 weeks before. The Chateaux in Belgium was just hours away ;( No way I could extend my trip for another week.
(but I had a great time meeting everyone!)

It does seem like a very secret meeting compared to the US event. I guess they must be having too good a time to talk to us. Sad

there is a very simple reason for the lack of information, guys. i´m attending the meeting and there is no internet connection. i have access through a GPRS link to my PDA. slow + rather cumbersome.
but let me tell you, these days are really nice here. i bet all the participants will tell + show you much more next week. Wink
so long...

Indeed, the internet is very bad...
It´s coming to the end now and most of us are very tired. It will take a couple of days to get back on our feet.

People attended from many parts of the world, this time also from Switzerland, Austria, Germany (a lot), the USA (a lot from both sides), Canada, Finland, Sweden, Belgium, Italy and The Netherlands (also a lot).

There will be a next one, next year, with more rooms available.

The week has been great. I've had such a wonderful time with the modular family that I would like to be the first to report that the Event went FANTASTIC!

Thanks to all those who made it possible.
