LIVE WEB-TV: 4 Jan | 8pm Jeff Samuel (Traum/Trapez) @ Berlin Mitte Institut (7pm GMT) [/b]

Jeff Samuel will be in da house - expect great sound including an interview! Don't miss out on that one! Jeff Samuel has been a DJ for 7 years and is known across the midwestern United States for his unique style of mixing. His music choices range from the funky quirks he is known for in his productions to deeper tech-house and more intense techno stylings. Jeff changes his style of mixing to fit the mood of the music and the atmosphere. Whether it is smooth long mixes or quick cuts and fader tricks, Jeff Samuel is the DJ that always delivers the funk proper! After completing his first demo he was signed to Frankfurt's Lo-Fi Stereo Recordings in 1999. His eccentric, funky and blipped out style soon caught the attention of Daniel Bell, who signed him to 7th City. Don't forget Jeff's two records on Pokerflat, and his five releases on Trapez plus two remix 12's of "Knob" on Trapez ltd. Check out Traumschallplatten.de as well.

Here`s the live interview with Jeff Samuel (Trapez/Pokerflat) @ Berlin Mitte Institut from the show on 4 Jan 2007 with questions that you have sent us. Where is the electronic music heading? Vinyl? MP3? Why will Minimal Techno loose ground? What should young producers focus on when making their music? Why is DJ Decks a better tool than Serato or Final Scratch? What are the differences of the European and American music scene? What is the concept behind your recent "Step" album? Why did you release on so many German labels? Which are your favourite producers? Find Jeff`s answers live recorded here. The interviewer was Spoonyluv.
