Howard and crew - what about having a classified ad section on the site? (if there is one already - please let me know and disregard this post). I think it would be good to have a section where we could post gear for sale or wanted, perhaps musicians wanted/available for performance, collaboration, etc... I feel more comfortable selling and buying on a list where know more of the people...

Comments?

Great suggestions.

The forum software has a new feature that has sub categories. I'm going to get it and incorporate it. In the meantime, what do you think if I just set up two new forums; one called Gear/Opportunites Wanted, and one called Gear/Opportunites For Sale?

Would that be a good start?

I think it makes sense to separate gear from opportunities. And it's probably ok to buy buy/sell (wanted/for sale) in the same forum.

I agree - keep the gear and opportunities seperate. In the beginning I don't see a need to seperate available/wanted items - makes for interesting reading to see what's happening.

OK, there are now two new forums, one for opportunities (available and wanted) and one for equipment. When we get the hierarchical forum categories going, we can break it down if it becomes necessary.

Thanks for the suggestions. Now, let's get some stuff moving Very Happy
