I have bought a used Nord Rack 3. It will unfortunately go back to the previous owner because the rotary dial was broken in transport, but hopefully the gets back to me for good.

I have noticed Nord Rack 3 gets very hot at the radiators after some time. Is it normal for this synth?

'Very hot' is not normal. Are you burning your fingers?
It's normal when it gets 'warm'.

The power suply of the Leads is known to get hotter then others. As long as the synth is working fine. You must be able to hold it.

just got a Nord Rack 3 as well and noticed the same thing, after about thirty minutes the back and underside around the middle of the module gets very warm, bordering on what I'd call hot. doesn't really seem normal to me either, as it gets much warmer than any other piece of gear I own. I had it running for a good hour and a half yesterday with no problems, but it does make me a bit nervous about the longevity of the unit. Confused
