Anyone done this?

I'm a mac guy, but am looking at buying a dedicated tablet laptop to rig for my G2. It doesn't need to run anything but the editor, and have a network port to download patches from the internet.

Anyone have suggestions / experiences they can share?
What is the minimum speed processor / RAM required to run the G2 editor well on a PC laptop?

Any advice appreciated!

Cheers,
S

I used a Tablet PC with the Nord G2 editor and had a blast. I had a Toshiba Tecra M4. The requirements for the G2 editor are fairly conservative. Just change the knob response in the editor to 'circular'. Oh, get a better pen than the one that's included with most tablet PCs. A Wacom Cintiq pen with the rubberized grip and rocker switch is recommended.

I would like to resurrect this thread Smile

Has anyone found a decent tablet (besides the Tecra M4) to use the editor with it?
