So... I'm sick of carrying around 3-4 bags of stuff around with me, especially when half the time a lot of the bulkiness of it all is a result of the bags.

Anyone have any suggestions for carrying... say a small midi controller, a laptop, a small audio interface and cables in one bag? Or in other situations, switching the midi controller out for mics and stuff. possibly some fairly compact mic stands?

I've been looking at custom messenger backs to get this done, which would run me about 150 bucks (before I get some fancy design on the front - if i'm going tos pend 150 bucks, i might as well spend 200 and make it look nice). http://reloadbags.com/bags/civilian.php is what I'm looking at.

Thanks for any help you've got.

Look at those camera backpacks with the Velcro partitioning sections. I think you can get regular bags like that too. Photographers carry a lot more loose pieces around than most of us ever will.
