Friends: I recently acquired a new Buchla 200e modular synthesizer, and have started a new page on my website dedicated to my exploration of this fascinating new instrument. Go here:

http://www.otownmedia.com/he/buchla.htm

to hear, and see, an explanation of the new performance system I've designed around the Buchla, along with some video and audio clips of me playing it with the Haken Continuum. If you like what you see, please pass along the info to whoever you think might be interested. Thanks!

Wonderful website. Love the Hummingbirds. Your Buchla 200e music is beautiful, and the video is very intersting. Very inspirational.

Awesome sounds and an amazing set-up. That Buchla really is the cat's wiskers. I think i need a better job (a much better job) so I can consider saving for one of those beauties.

Really impressed by the continuum thingy as well, have never seen one of those before but so much potential for adding expression and feel, without everything having to be necessarily thought through beforehand.

Richard I'm so glad you posted. I woke this AM with the intention of posting a link to you here on EM after watching your video etc yesterday. Very impressive in lots of ways. (Buchla...drool...Buchla...) I saw a video on the Continuum a while back and it looked killer but out of my range for now. Then saw an Ondes Martenot video the day before yours.
It's all about expression, yes-no?

What a system you have built. The only thing you need there is some sound treatment to do your surround system righteous Very Happy (I'm moving and just took down a bunch of sound panels and now my room sounds like poo, so I happen to be painfully aware of the difference right now...)

Can I stand in your room and watch you? Very Happy

Best regards,
Phil

OT PS to all-
be sure to watch the hummingbird videos - amazing.
