I want to explore different settings on the freq range of my 2nd SN-Voice.
Can I do this by changing C13 (currently 0.022 uf) coming from pin17 of the sn76477? cheers

Yes, you can. It may effect how the high frequency compensation for the 1V/Octave operates but that may not matter to you.

The VCO frequency is expressed by the following:

Minimum Freq=(.64/(Rvco x Cvco))

The maximum frequency is a 10:1 ratio and thus is expressed:

Maximum Freq = 10 x (Minimum Freq)

I forget exactly what the upper limit frequency is on the IC but the VCO goes beyond the audable range of human hearing.

In addition, the VCO control resistor, Rvco, must be no less than 7.5K in accordance with the datasheet.

I believe it was also discovered that the SLF frequency can be made much higher than the published data so you do a bit of experimenting there as well if you so wish.

Bill

Hope this helps .........

thanks Bill
will have a play with it soon.
I read the SLF can attain 20kHz, not very super low freq for synth people.
