Why are you stunned? $1250 is a lot of money for a secondhand unexpanded G2. You'd get more replies if you asked for offers. Also, what about sending a unit like this overseas? To send a G2 to Europe, we would be stung on import duties too.

Another very important factor (apart from the slump in house prices in the US), is that Christmas is rapidly approaching, and most people are saving for that.

My advice, wait until after xmas to sell it, and drop the price! Very Happy

These are the kinds of posts that turn people off of these forums, electro-music is without a doubt, the best forum I have ever been a member of, the people here are generally helpful and non-judgmental.
IMHO you have both been "trolls", you have been baiting each other with every post you made. This goes double for you v-un-v, after all, you are a moderator on some of these forums, and you should be setting an example for the rest of us, as for T7, I'm glad you sold your G2 for a what you wanted, but you don't have to rub everyones faces in it. Now kiss and make up, and lets go back to being the civilized forum we all signed up for.

To the rest of the forum, I apologize for the rant, I'm just getting sick of these little flame wars popping up everywhere.

Sorry for rubbing the sale in, but it's really frustrating being harassed. I admit I was feeling self-righteous when it sold, but that was a result of being told I couldn't do it. Sorry things got ugly.

It's a shame you never liked your G2 T7. Erstlaub made an awesome recording by using just the G2. I guess I was cross about all the negativeness that was being exchanged about an instrument which is to my mind anyway, rather unique (I certainly would like one! Smile
