Since the summer, I have started to make live performances with the G2, one or two drum machines and some other hardware. The band is called Analogue Dream Plant and I have a guitar player as sidekick.
This G2 performance is made to suit in live acts. Slot a b and c are compete with bass and rhythm parts, and rise in complexity in the variations. Slot C is only melody/FX.
It is possible to punch in and out the slots, and punch in variations. Add a drum machine with bass drum, it is enough most of the time.
It needs an expanded G2, and is on the maximum patch level even there...

Missed this one.

You have indeed lots of options when you sync a drumcoputer and a bass to it (in my case a machinedrum & evolver) sounds great man! Smile
thanks for sharing!

Thank you. I run it in live situation with one Electribe ESX, one EMX, a Roland XV-2020 for some midi patterns, a NM3 for solos and a Nord Electro with a lot of delay for some piano parts.
And it is fun to bounce in an out differed pattersns (it is meant to be played in global mode so all for slots is available on the knobs).
This is dance music, made to be played with some solo parts.
Next project is more of an ambient piece, with slower BPM.
I am now recording the patch in a musical enviroment. Stay tuned, and I send an mp3.
