Wow - am I really first?

I thnk this Koto sounds a lot better than the factory one. Use the pitch stick to give fast upward pitch bends and vibrato, or use the wheel for vibrato if you prefer. Three variations are provided.

Yes, it is much better than the factory Koto. Not often you hear the real thing to compare (unless you spend some time in Japan) but to my ears, this sounds very authentic.
Funny thing, since Japanese synthesises have had presets, they almost all include a Koto sound. None as good as this I'll bet.

Yes, I agree. This is a great Koto, but you have to keep the mod wheel pretty low or it starts to sound like an effect in a Looney Tunes cartoon. Laughing

I know only the first three variations are Kotos, but the others are all good sounds as well...

You're right; the vibrato was too wide. I uploaded a replacement (I think.. not sure how that interface works).

Not sure where those variations came from; I thought I set them to be the same as Variation 1. But you're right, they are cute.
