I'm building a pair of CGS VCO's, and see that the NTE7144 is listed as a replacement for the CA3140. Has anyone used the NTE7144 in their build? To me the pinouts look identical, but I'm not sure if there's anything else I need to be aware of before using this chip. Can someone enlighten me?

The specs look about the same, never heard of anybody using this chip, try it and see (with a socket).
Please report back if it works.
