Hello!
I've been wondering lately... how can you reverse a song in a CD in order to listen to it backwards?
Thanks!

Easiest would be to rip it to your computer, load it into your wave editor (like audacity) and then reverse it. _________________ Jan

turning your CD player upside down and listening to it while in a headstand yoga position is even easier to get the same effect. _________________ homepage - blog - forum - youtube

Or listening close enough to a spinning cylinder out in space with enough mass and torque to reverse the passage of time.
...or there often is some easy way of doing this in your DAW as well - for instance in Ableton Live there is a reverse button when your viewing a clip.

Hello!
You are all very funny!
I could also reverse the DC cable of my CD Player and that would also do the trick!
I hadn't thought of that possibility!
Thanks!

Sorry about the lack of seriousness. Anyway Blue Hell's suggestion of using Audacity (which is free) should work - and basically all sound editors should have some kind of reverse function. Or do you need to do it in some specific situation.

I have used Audacity to do this and it works fine.
Or else perhaps you could learn to meditate until you gain the power of control of time itself?
Perhaps visit a black hole and throw the CD into it? _________________ "Let's make noise for peace." - Kijjaz |
