Microtonal Projects are delighted to announce that a further festival of microtonal music, UK MicroFest 3 (UKM3), will take place at riverhouse, Walton-upon-Thames, Surrey UK 6-8 March, 2009.
riverhouse have become our partners in hosting the event and further funding has been gained from PRSF and RVW Trust. Best Bits Media Ltd are our commercial sponsors.

If you are not sure what to expect, you can listen to some short clips of recordings made at UKM2 or, even better, buy the double CD documenting UKM2!
Walton upon Thames is only 30 mins from London Waterloo and riverhouse is 10-15 mins by car from the M25.
UKM3 Focus
We are delighted to welcome Pascale Criton as our principal guest this year. Pascale will be in residence throughout the festival and on Sunday will give a keynote lecture. To conclude the festival there will be a concert of Pascale's wonderful, evocative microtonal music given by the French ensemble Dédalus. For information about Pascale's outstanding career, see:

There will be 7 other world premiere performances and 6 UK premiere performances throughout the 3 days including new work by Christopher Fox and Horatiu Radulescu.

Booking Information
To book in advance please complete the booking form. Cash on the door bookings will be available for all sessions over the weekend on a first come, first served basis but the maximum number for each session is 70 so booking is advisable.
Reasonably priced local accommodation is available
There is a good, sensibly priced café at riverhouse which will be open over the weekend. There are also many other local restaurants and pubs within walking distance.
riverhouse is an arts venue built around an 18th century barn on the river in Walton-on- Thames. Opened to the public in 1989, it is a performance space, art gallery, craft studio, café-bar and garden with on-site parking. It is close to Walton town centre and within a short walk of the Thames path and a number of attractive riverside pubs. riverhouse is approximately 20 mins walk from Walton station; taxis to riverhouse normally cost around £5.
