Hi,

anyone having experience in setting up their own icecast server and related stuff? I managed to set up the server (on FreeBSD) and it seems to run fine, just, I have not defined any sources yet. Especially, as I have not found any usable management interface.
The server's stream shall be feedable by an automation and switchable to live input. And I am not the only one to operate it (and upload files for automation), so it needs some interface that is not to difficult to use and which makes it difficult to break anything Wink
Would be great, if anyone can help me out. Recommendations to use shoutcast (and related tools) with pointers to the tools are fine, too.

Cheers, Stefan

Hi, have you read This chapter from Kerry Cox's very useful e-book on Icecast? There are a number of utilities which can be made to work. The entire book is rather lengthy and quite thorough.
