Hi everyone . Im having some difficulty sending and recieving nob movements between my A6 and Cubase 5 running on Vista 32 . In global Im set to transmit keyboard and panel on midi and tx thin parametre is set to dense it stutters when i move the knobs if I set it to any value lower . If I move one knob at a time it seems fine but if I move a couple at once The sequencer (cubase) starts to slow down the midi cycle I have looping and the return of the midi info seems to delay ( The nobs dont respond in time to what Im tweeking and when I release my hand from them the a6 is still editing itself for a second or 2 . Has anyone else experienced this problem with a simillar set up . or is anyone using cubase 5 with windows xp 32 and maybe transmitting sysex with a thinner setting on an earlier version of windows . If anyone knows a way around this It would be greatly appreiciated . Thanks a lot folks Dave

I don't use this kind of setup, but you don't need sysex to record knob movements, they send out NRPN pairs, so if you've got sysex on, then turn it off (tx and rx) also, try the thin setting first, a lot of knob movements will clog the midi stream, and depending on your computer and midi interface it can slow down the daw.
