Hai guise! First time poster, long time lurker. Just got an Andromeda a couple weeks ago and I'm having some trouble with her. There's a few parameters that keep jumping sporadically all on their own for a couple seconds at a time. This happens about once or twice a minute. From watching the Andy do this a couple times, I've noticed that the knobs involved in this are all the ones from the prefilter mixer to the filter section, including the soft knobs. I would have sent this thing off for repair already, but there's no repair shops here in Vegas. I already emailed Alesis, but they've been absolutely no help ('send it to Guitar Center'!?) Recently somebody sent me a link to a place that sells parts because the end piece was busted when it arrived. I was checking out the rest of their parts for sale and stumbled on this:

Incidentally, all of the knobs that are giving me trouble are the ones on that board. Should I just go ahead and shell out the money for a replacement board, or do you guys think it may be a sign of an underlying problem? In any case I'm going to open up the Andy and see if there's any loose wiring as per a suggestion elsewhere on this forum, but I'd like to at least get an idea of if this is something I can repair on my own or if I'm going to be stuck shipping it out to Hollywood. Thanks a ton to everybody in advance! I really want to get my baby up and running again.

It's most probably nothing more than a loose ribbon connector inside. Read this thread.

Try opening it up and re-seating the internal connectors before thinking about spending any money.

I'll have a look around inside of it tonight and hope that you're right. Thanks.
