Hi everybody,
I post a new Effectolgy clip.
"Cello Concerto for Guitar and Effect Pedals"

In this clip I twisted a regular guitar into a cello, string section and solo horn.
All using just EHX pedals!

The clip is here:

The How-To is here:

Thanks for listening!

Sweet demo, dude! I take it you'll add a description of your horn sound at some point too?

I hear what you're saying about the upper-end noise of bows on strings. I try to emphasize this sound on purpose for one of our band's songs, to try to evoke the sound of water flowing over rocks, as envisioned by our primary songwriter. I use a water sample on my Korg M3 synth, normally, but for our July show I'm trying to get all my sounds from just guitar and cello, so I won't have to lug keyboards to this small venue show.

How do you like the Black Finger vs. other compressor pedals? I only lately got turned on to the idea of using a compressor pedal - not for extra sustain, but to make your funk, more funkay. More specifically, this video turned me on to compressors: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iADmls7hGL8

The guy who posted that video link (not Chris Buono) uses and prefers a Maxon CP-101 as do, it seems, a bunch of other guys.
