It's just my bad timing. I'm glad for the people who will get it for this lower price. I've been searching for a G2 expansion for about a year and it's great that Encore is selling this clones. |

Woo Hoo, I haven't been constantly checking the pricing but scored a $399 board by complete accident last night (Australia timezone). Now I check the encore website, its back up to $499. And I was going to think about it overnight...
Sorry for gloating,

I've spent 10 minutes trying to think of a quick come back. But since I haven't got one...
Congats to everyone with an Encore expansion board and a big thanks to Tony for seeing a need and putting his skills to giving us an alternative expansion board.
You can have a double, wout!

G2 DSP expansion board stock |

I'm starting to see the bottom of the box, so if you've been on the fence about buying one, I wouldn't wait too much longer. I don't think I'll be doing another run of these considering the rate at which they sold.
The quantity was pretty small and there were a lot of people forming a list who never bought one. Surprisingly, lots of other people not from this forum (or the main list) have purchased them. Maybe they just read this forum and not write much.
Regards,
Tony |

Seems to be a bit the same issue as with the G2 itself then ...
And yes, there are lots of anonymous visitors here (might be 75% of total), and many members that post not often. _________________ Jan

It would be very sad for me if the production ran out just yet.
I really like the G2 and I'd love to expand it one day.
Unfortunately I don't have the money right now and I'll need around a year to get it together.
I do understand the problems of not selling enough boards though.

Well Tony! Now you had me panic!
Just ordered one... luckily I have at least that amount of funds at the moment so I´ll still be able to feed my kids too.
Now this is going to be fun experimenting with my AX100mkII...

No I'm not the one and unfortunately I don't have any releases yet or run a label. Maybe someday. But my (musical) heart is in tha D that is true.

Nord G2 Expansion Subject description: Status? |
|
|
Once upon a time there was talk about a run of Nord Modular G2 Expansion boards.
Now that I am the proud owner of a Nord G2 Engine, I would love to have one.
Was another run ever done?
Anybody know where I can obtain one?
Cheers,
Al |

Congratulations on scoring a G2 Engine. Unfortunately, I don’t think that Clavia ever made another run of expansion boards since they discontinued the G2. Encore apparently only made a limited run of the clone and their site shows they are out of stock. It looks like you may have to wait until someone offers a used one for sale. _________________ varice |

Thanks for the welcome.
I will wait and hope. Perhaps one will magically appear like the G2 itself did.

G2 expansion DSP boards available again |
|

Hi all,
I did another small run, and the price is still the same. If you want one, please don't think about for another year or two, because I'm not sure I'll do this again. |
