Hello to everyone again, I've been off the diy stuff for a bit, but I'm back at it once again.

I've been working on making a new power/ground bus board for my lunetta hybrid synth, and I've realized that I know very little about connectors. Trying to sift through the hundreds of different sizes and styles on mouser or jameco hasn't really led to anything!

I thought I'd see if any of you had any recommendations; what types of connectors do you normally use for your diy projects? I'm mainly just looking to use these for power and ground, but I might want some three or four contact versions if I ever want to do some data lines for other things in the future. I don't have any modular gear aside from my projects, so I'm unaware if there are any standards that companies like doepfer or dotcom (synthesizer.com) follow (I assume they use some standard...).

Sorry if this isn't the most appropriate forum for this, but nothing else seemed any better!

I appreciate your feedback!
