I started to look into what I captured in Cadaques this summer just now.

I found this series on the first card I dumped into Apple Aperture.

This summer has been invaded by wasps, and my mother has been stung twice - once in the upper lip (cured though by giving it a good splash of whisky) and once in a finger. My parents put out bottles and bowls with syrup, to make the stingy creatures crawl in and drown. No prisoners taken in this war.

Edit: sorry about the photo being sideways.

From a reunion gig we did this weekend with my old band, "Sneakers." We were active 1979 to 1982; It was a blast getting back together again. Me and the cowboy-hatted one, Gjermund Lund were always in cahoots back in the day, and we still were the terrible twins nearly thirty years on.

Yeah, I thought it was quite nice with that sort of neon type stitching.

Maybe we can get a group buy going, I am up for one.

Actually just had a look at getting two but the price with shipping of $46 was beyond the level of drunken foolery I am currently at, maybe another whisky will do the job....

Nice link.

Luckily I am seeing it in the morning with a hang over rather than last night with too much booze in side me, otherwise we could all be wearing them.

I was out of town for the weekend at a Prokofiev festival (which is why I couldn't go to electro-music Crying or Very sad ). Prokofiev was sometimes critized by the Soviet regime for being too "formalist" (which in practice, I think, means insufficiently diatonic).

So naturally I started taking formalist photographs. Here are a few of them. I took all of these pictures with a pack-of-cards-sized Canon SD800 camera.

Very nice pics; I like the allusion to pseudo-serialism in the last one.

Nice ones Joyti!

I was in my 'extended garden' this weekend (that's anywhere out in the woods...). Some of it looked like this:

I was about to see a play and realized I had left my glasses in the car, without which I would not be able to read the program. So I went back to the car to get them, and this is what I saw from the parking lot.
