re-introducing - ambient/chilled klickscapes |
|
|
well. since i am now in the music making "business" for almost a year and managed to gain a label deal plus a fair bunch of amazing people to collaborate with, i would very much like to reintroduce me and what i do on this board. this was one of the first places where i looked for feedback, and i got some and a lot of nice words that helped me get along and develop. thanks a bunch, ladies and gentlemen!
so, what i do: i create earthy soundscapes off foundsound/field recordings/everything and combine them with LOADS of layered freeware vsti midi tracks, mostly in ableton live, jeskola BUZZ, usine and plogue bidule. i severely lack in music theory knowledge, but i am a swift learner; mostly i feel the pretty simple micromellodies are sufficient for what emotions i want to transport with my songs.
who i am: you may check out my bio on my labels homepage, or: i am alex, i live in germany, and i am a weekend warrionr musician of sorts.
so, the latest song i did was today just after work ("i scared the drums", yes, it is indeed a working title ), and i think it has some mixing and arrangement issues, but i like it in the state that it is in now. maybe one or two of you people enjoy what i did there. you will find nearly every 'worthy' track on my soundcloud account.

thanks in advance for your time! feedback and anything is very welcome. cheers. alex

hey, glad you liked it! i removed it from my soundcloud since i am proliferative as hell, and you only have a few hours worth of upload time there. i recently counted all the mp3 renders i made and came up with 348 files since december 2008, and that does not include the discarded arrangements XD
some more clicks, now with moving pictures! yay! (resolume avenue for live edits, adobe after effects for postproc, first ever "video" )
