Amung all of the "weird stuff" Ive got, are a whole lot of these odd potentiometers.

They are Duncan Electronics 10, 100, and so on (Mostly 100K) pots, but the odd thing about them is that they are "10-Turn". You turn them 10 times to get from "0" to "100". Whereas a normal pot just turns almost 360 degrees.

Would anyone find these useful? Maybe as fine fine fine tuners?

Ive also got a LOT of CB mount trim pots (Some new, some "harvested" from boards) AND micro-switches of various types.

What sorts of components do people here need?

Im sorry that all of my posts as late sound like sales-pitches. That is not my ENTIRE intention (Though I WOULD like to sell a bunch of this stuff). But I mostly have questions about some of the odd-ball components Ive been coming up with.

Can you post a photo of the 10 turn pots?

are they 1/4" shaft?

I could be interested in some of them depending.

I routinely use 10-turn pots for 'tune' on VCOs - mine all come from recycled lab gear.

I'd also be interested in a few maybe.
As Andrew said, they are great for frequency tune on vco's & also parameters like +/- cv amount & other parameters like drive & rate in stranger circuits (eg. Ian Fritz' chaos).

Just to let you know, Chrmetuna doesn't always seem to maintain regular or cinsistent monitoring of these topics. I believe he has had recent personal developments that tend to absorb attention span.

You're partly right, except I hace the attention span

And the other day I was walking a dog, wait that wasn't my dog.

Anyway, this cheese sandwich is pretty good.

I have lots and lots of pots. I've got entire pots of pots.

And other stuff too. I'll make a video or something to show off what I've got.

Absolutly I do!

I also want to sell a bunch of other stuff too.

I got some really cool stuff that can be used for all kinds of synth DIY porpoises.

Oscilloscopes, vintage electronic test equip, cool things to be used as mod cases etc and so forth.

As of right now, I am LIVE at 4:17 PM CST.

http://www.justin.tv/chrometuna

Showing off some of my cool stuff, and a Yamaha V50 synth I need to sell.

Tuna in and check it out.

Sorry if this post/thread isnt in the right place.....but neither is my brain.

Hey, yes I want to sell lots of stuff.

I'm not sure what the 10-turn pots are worth. I guess they are worth whatever you'll pay for them.

Make an offer.
I can't really offer much in the way of garantees that they will fit your purposes. And I don't really want to sit down and un-soldier the wires dangling off of them.

I've also got things like switches, SOME of them micro-switches. And some little trim-pots and "Locking pots" that have very short shafts and locking nuts so that once adjusted they can be "locked" in that position/tuning.

I just need to find a way to make it worth my time, and your money.

One thing I would think ppl would be the most interested in is the cases that these parts come out of: They would make excelent module cases, especially with the racks/cases they came out of.

I might go back "On air" at some point today to take more stuff apart, and show off what Ive got

As far as the Yamaha V-50. I'd like to get $350 out of it. But considering what shipping it will likely cost (I dont know how much that will be) I am open to offers

Ive also got some antique and vintage electronic test equip.
