I have a nord electro 2 with software version 2.2. I am having a problem updating the software. I have tried it on my mac (OS 10.5.Cool and on my PC (XP SP2) In both instances I receive the message that the software is unable to find the synth. I have been using an M-AUDIO - Uno - 1-In/1-Out USB Bus-Powered MIDI Interface as well as the midi jack on my digi 002. When I hook up the nord to my computer via the USB the Nord Electro 2 Tool Software recognizes the nord, however it won't allow me add/subtract sounds due to the older software on the nord. It could be I am missing an obvious step as I have never done this before. Is there anyone out there who can help me? Please? Anyone?

You mentioned that you were using a midi cord to do this. Don't you need to use a USB cord for this?
