An interesting suggestion which takes us directly to functional analysis. My wild hope for starters is that someone will translate Rameau into C# and Zylaphon will be able to incorporate it as its first major analysis engine. I have long been interested in creating a vector space model of "key position." (That would logically come after Rameau or something like is was in place.) I think such a space is where I would look for a mapping between a quantitative and a graphic representation of "tonal" cadences.
